Return & Refund Policy

Dragon Products Return policy fully follows guidelines set out by the UK Government on its website.

Please note that we cannot accept back for a return, cancellation or refund any pressure vessel ( Tanks or Bottles ) that is a special order item ( e.g You have chosen to have valves and airbox pre fitted by us or your agent) or any gas part that has been previously fitted, filled or used with gas due to the safety restrictions and courier and post office shipping guidelines for dangerous goods. 

When ordering gas tanks or gas bottles we recommend you make sure the tank or bottles fits your vehicle first before purchasing them as you can not return them.

We can also not provide a refund or accept a return for any products we have not sold directly to you.  Please make sure you have the right invoice number to provide us ( gained via your orders on the login portal on this Dragon Products webshop.)

In line with recommended UK Government guidelines we ask that you tell us by email, phone or post ( see all our contact details below ) within 14 days of you receiving your goods from Dragon Products if you want to return your goods for a refund or exchange. You then must return the goods back to us within 14 days of when you initially notified us.  We will refund you back via your original payment method within 14 days of the goods been received by us in full saleable condition with all the original packaging and certificates and documentation we initially supplied with it / to you.

We can not accept any goods back for a refund or exchange outside of these 14 days notification of return or refund guidelines ( 14 days’ notice from delivery to you and you then have 14 days to return the item(s) to us ) because not only are many of the LPG items we sell dated ( and thus have a legal certified life span ) but also after 14 days we automatically register all your purchased products with the relevant bodies and manufactures so the warranty period will start from the date of your purchase and the items recorded in your name and details and are not transferable if resold.

For your returns to be swiftly proceeds for you we ask if it’s possible for you to please email returns@dragonproducts.co.uk as this will make recording your returns request easier for all parties. With this email please include your downloaded and completed Dragon Returns form from above and put 'RETURNS' in your email subject line. We would also prefer if you also advised us why you want to return the item.

If you are not able to email, don't worry, all you need to do is please write to us at our sales office: Dragon Products Sales team, Dragon Products, The Old Church Hall, Groeslon, Caernarfon, Gwynedd. LL54 7DL.

Please make sure that however you notify us of your request for a returned and refunded product, that we receive this within 14 days of the goods arriving with you and that you return the goods back to us within 14 days of your initial contact with the information we request in the Dragon Products returns form.

You are responsible for the costs of returning any unwanted item back to Dragon Products and It is recommended (although not compulsory) that you send the item via recorded delivery or signed for courier service so that you have a record of the returned item(s) with the Royal Mail or Courier just in case the goods go missing or get damaged on their way back to us.If a postage or courier loss or damage on your goods being returned to us does occur you should attempt to claim compensation from the company that you chose to deliver the item. We are not liable nor issue refunds for items lost, stolen or damaged whilst in transit to ourselves.  

We do not refund the initial delivery costs or charges incurred by you or us in the purchase of these or any of our goods. Even if the goods are bought with free delivery, there is an initial cost to us to get the goods to you. This outward delivery cost or return costs you have incurred shall not be refunded in your returned product refund price. 

Under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 there is no right of cancellation once you have used the product unless it is defective and you are returning the item for that reason.  If the item is defective after you accept it we will repair the item for up to 12 months if it is found to have a manufacturing defect only.

We cannot accept a return or refund on special order products which have been incorrectly ordered by yourselves. These include vehicle specific kits which we have assembled for your use or any gas tanks or gas bottles which you have selected to have valves and airbox prefitted in the tank and testing carried out.  When ordering gas tanks or gas bottles we recommend you make sure the tank or bottles fit your vehicle before purchasing them.

We ask that all returned items are returned in an unused state / have not been fitted or attempted to be fitted, with their supplied and original full packaging and documentation and in a fully saleable condition. Any unused, unwanted returns must be accompanied by ALL their original packaging and documentation and copy of the invoice is included with the returned items. Goods that were manufactured for you or were a special order to your specification or where there may be hygiene issues or gas use issues, can only be returned if there is a manufacturing defect where we will repair or replace the item at the manufactures discretion.

We cannot accept any items back for refund that have been used or filled with gas.

Goods that are returned in the original packaging but without any supplied and original accessories, manuals, brochures, certificates, warranties or guarantees, which came with the product we supplied, will not be eligible for refund as they are deemed to be "in an incomplete state" and no refund will be given. You will be responsible for any costs to have these goods returned to you. Where the item has been removed from the original packaging you are responsible for repackaging them back in to the original packets to ensure the goods are returned in a fully saleable condition so you get your refund.

If you buy anything which was part of a kit build up and should you want to change a single part of that specific part of the kit (egg, change the fill point from a straight to an angled version in an EASYFIT system) then you need to return all the parts in the kit that you paid for first. We cannot exchange a single part from a kit build up as our system will not allow it.

If items are being returned as faulty, please include a description of the defect(s).

If you are wanting to change your previously purchased Dragon Products part (purchased directly from us) for a new different item or the item you have purchases is incorrect for what you wanted, then we will refund the previous part back to the same means of payment that you made (once they are returned back to us in a saleable condition), so you can purchase the new item directly on the Dragon Products webshop or via one of our sales team at any time. We cannot simply swap the item for another, even if it’s the same cost, as our system does not allow it. We must issue a credit receipt for the returned item and refund the monies back to you.

So, to clarify; if the goods bought via this webshop, via email or on the phone are not wanted for any reason, it is your responsibility to return them to us and at your costs.
