If you install or test refillable GAS Bottles or Gas Tanks of any brand, but don't do it often enough to be able to justify buying our GAS IT Pro Installation Test, Purge and Fill Gun system, yet you are serious in wanting to test the install with compressed air for leaks on your new install before going to fill it with LPG for the first time then perhaps the GAS IT AIR Test Fill Mini UK is for you.
This GAS IT AIR Test Fill Mini PCL air connection is designed to work with the UK standard compressor Airlines fitted with the PCL Female coupling ( our Mini Adapter is fitted with the Male PCL part ) which allows the new refillable gas tank or refillable gas bottle installation to be pressurised up to its full working pressure with air, so you can then leak check all the joints from the fillpoint going into and out of the gas bottle / tank system. You can even pressure check the appliance joints if working on Leisure vehicles like Motorhomes, Caravans and so on by connecting the air charged bottle or gas tank to the gas system and turning it on.
When the system is check, you need to remove the air which involves leaving an appliance running or by opening a single connection on the systems outlet - usually the pigtail from the tank or bottle..
Our Test Mini is made of heavy duty brass and on the fillpoint end it has the industry standard 21.8 RH ( For UK converted vehicles - Autogas or Leisure ). This end screws into the threads which are inside the UK bayonet fillpoint. The Test Fill Mini has a course knurled section machined on the lower part which makes installing it/ Screwing it in to the UK bayonet fillpoint by hand very easy - even when wearing thick gloves.
We also sell this identical part with an LPG fitting in place of the PCL air one so you can use LPG direct from a gas bottle in liquid or vapour phase - LPG is more seeking than air ( it will find a leak that air doesn't ), and LPG is the test medium that is needed when testing LPG systems already used with LPG before.
